Senior Data Engineer

Palta Brain specializes in data platform solutions, providing best practices, tools, and analytical expertise to enable data-driven product management methodologies. We tailor our solutions to the unique needs of each startup, recognizing that they are all at different stages of development.

What you will do

• Organize and refine data processing pipelines

• Optimize the use of resources spent on data processing

• Helping analytics and product teams get information in the most efficient way possible

• Develop and improve the architecture of the data platform to accommodate continuous growth

We expect that you have

• At least 7 years of experience in software development, of which 4 years in data engineering

• Excellent communication skills, this position involves a lot of communication with people using data platform services

• Ability to build data pipelines using technologies: Airflow, Snowflake, Kinesis, PostgreSQL, Protobuf

• Ability to program in Python

• Knowledge of SQL at the level of writing complex queries and the ability to optimize them

• Proficiency in modern CI/CD tools for efficient development and deployment processes

• Good English level – both spoken and written

• Intermediate or higher Russian language skills

Beneficial skills

• Experience with AWS

• Experience in data analytics or product analytics

• Experience working with startups is strongly preferred

• Passion for health & fitness and a keen interest in staying updated with industry trends

• Strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement
