Who are we?

159 Solutions was founded in December 2013 to deliver a wide range of analytical solutions to life sciences clients. Sales and marketing teams are exposed to numerous data sets, but data is often complex to analyze and overwhelming. With a strong focus on delivering analytical projects rooted in market expertise, we felt the need to elevate consulting solutions beyond existing approaches via thoughtful partnerships. In order to achieve this, we ensure that the solutions delivered through our projects include time from senior staff, who are activity involved in solving the business question. 

This role is an ideal stepping-stone to current college students. This position will provide exposure to various components of 159 Solutions and Emerging Biotech within IQVIA.


Essential Functions

  • Under close supervision, assists in the following:
    • Integrate multiple healthcare data sets to support insights generation
    • Perform quantitative analysis to understand & validate data, spot patterns and trends, and generate takeaways and recommendations to client business needs
    • Design presentations and visuals to communicate key results of analysis
    • Partner with clients to identify key business questions and shape impactful and actionable solutions
  • Collaborate effectively with 159 onshore and offshore teams
  • Contribute to team discussions during brainstorming, planning, and problem-solving sessions
  • Proactively develops a basic knowledge of consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, or Business
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into strategic insights and recommendations for sales and marketing teams
  • Keen interest in the biotechnology, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industry coupled with willingness to learn about product marketing, sales analytics, and business intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with teammates and clients
  • Emphasis on attention to detail and quality of work
  • Strong collaborator and team player
  • Effective planning and time management skills

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $35,500.00 - $55,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
