Works closely with the HSE Team and is responsible for data management, the analysis and monitoring and reporting of HSE-related Data for KION business worldwide like HSE masterdata, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The HSE Data Analyst also analyzes and monitors lagging and leading indicators and compliance metrics related to the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of the KION HSE strategy. Supports the individual OUs and their entities in meeting the KION HSE requirements. Remotely carries out data validation and associated analysis. Utilizing advanced technical knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, Cority data management, Quentic, and GenSuite. The HSE Data Analyst will be responsible for continuous improvement of various systems, processes, and documents.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides statistical services and maintains internal reporting systems related to HSE.
  • Assists with safety and health data statistical analysis, trending report generation and generation of HSE reports, and creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
  • Assists in ensuring that operating units, entities and sites comply with all KION Group HSE Standards.
  • Assists with the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents.
  • Assists with the preparation of internal safety alerts, memos, correspondence, etc, attending regular conference calls.
  • Managing the HSE website and associated HSE knowledge banks
  • Education, Skills and Abilities

Essential skills and expectations

  • 3+ years experience in a similar operations,
  • ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge a plus,
  • Very important computer and technical skills such as Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, SharePoint Online and HSE software like GenSuite, Quentic or similar is a plus.
  • Proven skills in data analysis and Excel using pivot tables, macros, lookups, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and work comfortably with all KION Operating Units worldwide and individual entities
  • Strong TEAM player with effective and open communication skills.
  • Motivated to support all aspects of our operations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a self-directed environment and deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

Language proficiency

  • English – business fluent
  • Czech - business fluent
  • German – Elementary proficiency (is a plus)
