Engineer* Cloud & Data Operations (f/m/d)

You will play a decisive role in this by ensuring that the necessary data basis and infrastructure requirements are in place and are continuously developed. With this role, you will be at the start of an exciting journey as a pioneer of a new innovation team in IT, with plenty of freedom to make your own decisions.

YOUR TASKS:

• Together with our data scientists and AI engineers, you will work on exciting AI use cases and lay the technical foundations for the latest AI technologies, FAIR data and human interfaces
• From conception and prototyping to the operation of scalable and highly available data solutions, you will support us in implementing our projects in the cloud or on-premises efficiently, solution-oriented and successfully with the help of cloud-native technologies
• You will actively contribute to building a modern data infrastructure and runtime environment in the company and promote a culture of “Everything as a Service” (XaaS) and XOps
• By continuously monitoring current trends and technologies in the data and cloud environment, you will make a significant contribution to further strengthening our data and cloud expertise within the company

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics, data science or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience and excellent knowledge of data operations and cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, and have knowledge of software development using microservice architectures
• You actively follow the latest developments in the field of data architectures, such as data mesh, data storage, platform engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE) and have an interest in AI topics
• You are characterized by an extraordinarily high degree of initiative and curiosity and maintain an independent, systematic and solution-oriented way of working
• You love to learn more about the latest technologies, are passionate about making complex technologies more accessible and want to contribute to one of the most innovative sensor companies deeply rooted in sustainable and responsible technology
