Job Description: Gather requirements and enhancements for developing and implementing new BI solutions by leveraging cloud warehousing platforms (Snowflake/AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem landscapes (SAP/BW/BOBJ/HANA). Develop technical solutions that integrate data sources from Snowflake/AWS/Azure/GCP/SAP BW with appropriate front-end reporting and visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI/Tableau/Looker with optimal connectivity and configurations. Develop formatted reports and dashboard by leveraging Microsoft Power BI/Tableau/Looker and other BI tools. Modernize and migrate BI content from on-prem SAP BI/BOBJ platforms to the latest AWS/Azure/GCP technologies. Build policies and procedures for the use of business intelligence tools within the organization. Mentor and train junior team members on BI and DW concepts and best practices. Design and implement ETL processes to load data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse. Design and implement BI security and permission framework. Define and implement engineering best practices including peer code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure successful deliverables and better team alliance. Travel to various unanticipated locations in the United States to interact with clients and train end users for short- or long-term assignments.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, MIS, or related and Five (5) years in any occupation in which Software development, or related experience is gained. Five (5) years in any occupation in which Software development or related experience is gained must include: Microsoft Azure; Snowflake; dbt; Power BI; Tableau; SQL; and Python.

TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Chicago, IL. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.

Salary: $153,650 – 154,650 per year
