The Marketing Services team is a centralised, shared resource across regions and Business Units. The team works closely with each business unit and our Portfolio Marketing teams to create multi-tactic marketing campaigns and drive revenue growth, as well as managing brand strategy, research and insights.

The Marketing Services Intelligence team is a global team that provides customer and end user research and market intelligence as well as managing our Marketing Performance data program. Centralized management of Intelligence projects means we bring together data and intelligence expertise, best practice and consistency in approach across the business.

A role you will love

The Global Marketing Data Analyst role is a data management and analysis role which sits within the Marketing Intelligence team. This role holders will support with data management, data handling and data visualisation (dashboard development in PowerBI), as well as supporting with voice of the customer and end user surveys and data management.

A key element of this role will be to support our existing marketing performance program. Marketing Performance data (e.g., metrics to evaluate campaigns performance, email performance, events and the website) is refreshed at the start of every month and pulled into PowerBI Dashboards to help the marketing team and the business lines we serve to evaluate success. 

This role is also responsible for the management and development of our existing resource management/time tracking dashboards – which collate time tracking data captured in Monday.com - across Global Marketing Services. 

In this position, you will also be supporting the Voice of the Customer team – both with the management of existing data visualisation dashboards and with the creation of new dashboards (from scratch) – for example dashboards which present results from our annual, global client / customer satisfaction survey results (e.g., NPS, overall satisfaction, likelihood to retain business, perceptions of Computershare etc.). 

The role holder will also support the Voice of the Customer team with other elements of client and customer satisfaction data as needed for example managing client and end user surveys and survey data analysis – both analysis in Excel and reporting of data in PowerPoint. 

 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:  

  • Support in the monthly compilation and aggregation of marketing performance data from multiple data sources such as Eloqua, Oracle CRM on Demand, SalesForce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn and Excel spreadsheets (data mining)
  • Run queries on existing data sources to evaluate analytics and analyse trends
  • Manage existing dashboards such as our Monday.com time-tracking dashboards and client satisfaction data dashboards 
  • Create new PowerBI dashboards to host data from other client/end user research projects. 
  • Support with the delivery, management and analysis of global client and end-user surveys run as part of the Voice of the Customer program. 
  • Support with other ad hoc research/analysis projects run by the Intelligence team as required 

What will you bring to the role?   

You will bring expertise in data handling and data management and should have experience in analysing and interpreting data and working on data related projects. Great Excel skills are a must to exceed in this role - including experience using formula. You will also need to have some previous experience of data visualisation techniques and best practices – preferably in PowerBi - or another data visualisation solution. 

Knowledge of any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Handling marketing or other business performance data
  • Working with customer survey / customer satisfaction data.
  • Experience working with SQL or other data warehousing or data automation tools. 
  • Experience in the financial services sector. 

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or have relevant working experience. 
  • It would be an advantage if you have prior experience in Power BI or another data visualisation tool. 
  • The role holder will be highly analytical with a problem solving aptitude. 
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Willing to work as part of a collaborative global team across different time zones – including the occasional need for out of hours calls to accommodate colleagues in different time zones
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Able to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Good presentation skills, both written and verbal.
