BI Solution Architect

JOB SUMMARY:

The BI Solution Architect, SAP Analytics will be a member of Novocure’s corporate analytics & data strategy team, participating in activities and projects while ensuring cross functional, global alignment. The individual will provide the technical and analytical capabilities necessary to support Novocure’s vision, mission and values as well as corporate objectives and OKRs. This role will be proficient in SAP-based analytics, and reporting technology as required to address current and future analytics needs. The BI Solution Architect will ensure that the business in its various departments understands the data landscape and is provided with insight and actionable information to drive performance, identify growth levers and prepare for the future.

The BI Solution Architect, SAP Analytics is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Director, SAP Analytics, based in the US.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and delivery of reporting and analytics in SAP-based tools, including SAP Analytics Cloud and Web Intelligence, creating Universes/meta data management in BOBJ
• Provide support and expertise in the design and recommendation of appropriate analytical approaches and methodologies in addressing key issues within the business
• Research, development, and implementation of appropriate data visualization and dashboarding techniques that lead to improved business performance and goals
• Provide management visibility into data-driven insights and key performance indicators as well as directly support business units with their analytics needs
• Support ‘one source of truth’ of corporate data, ensure data accuracy and integrity across the global data platform
• Build relationships with business analytics specialists outside the IT department and partner with key stakeholders to promote data-driven decision-making, and analytical culture throughout the organization
• Maintain a current understanding of Novocure’s data landscape and all analytics/data initiatives and tools
• Continuously assess Novocure’s data landscape and tools against industry best practices
• Participate in improvement efforts as related to corporate analytics and data
• Assist in development and execution of Novocure’s corporate data, real world evidence, automation and data science technology strategy
• Assess new technologies and vendors to ensure Novocure’s analytics and data needs are being met

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interface, or related field
• 12+ years experience in working on Enterprise Data and Analytics initiatives, including leading complex reporting and analytics projects
• Proficiency with SAP Web Intelligence (Webi) and BOBJ Platforms
• Expertise in common, SQL-based data management tools
• Advanced knowledge of SQL in a SQL Server environment
• Extensive experience in data warehousing and BI solutioning
• Familiarity with data visualization and analysis methodologies, and leverage multiple tools to solve complex business data challenges
• Experience in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, cognitive tools, and artificial intelligence a plus
• Understanding of system architecture and integration principles
• Demonstrated success in cross functional integration/relationships and execution
• Ability to support large-scale change and enterprise-wide analytics initiatives
• Expertise within the SAP analytics landscape
• Knowledge of SAP data structures
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence cross-functionally and often in situations without direct authority
• Experience with a broad range of technologies
• Proven experience in executing enterprise data management initiatives, and corporate analytics
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Some knowledge of project management principles
• Result-oriented and fast learner
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication skills
