  • Work with an Engineer to create technical proofs of concepts that demonstrate the functionality of the product/feature.
  • Prepare business and technical documentation describing the use case of the product to be built, showing evidence of desirability, viability and feasibility based on concept testing and technical POCs.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor testing, market and user research, to continuously refine the deep understanding of both the problem and solution space for language learning and assessments.
  • Be the squad lead, ensuring the members of the squad are in alignment and work in sync.
  • Regularly share learning from discovery research and from technical POCs to influence internal product and technical roadmaps.
  • Work directly with UX/UI designers, ML engineers, AI scientists and key business stakeholders to ensure alignment between the innovation squad and internal roadmaps.

  • Vast experience in Product Management, working on SaaS or consumer applications.
  • Previous working on ML-powered features or products, interfacing directly with ML engineers and AI scientists or Data Scientists.
  • Experience launching 0 to 1 products, from idea to market launch and working with cross-functional teams to coordinate GTM launch.
  • Experience deploying ML-powered features, from use case definition to evaluation and iteration.
  • Experience working directly with UX/UI designers, shaping, and providing feedback on designs at different levels of fidelity.
  • Proficiency in designing and conducting product research to inform product decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of AI technologies, architectures, and teams, with ability to navigate, select and make trade-offs between different ML models.
  • Experience working on a variety of digital products including website, web apps and native mobile apps.
  • Hands-on prototyping skills with design tools, AI tools and/or no-code/low-code tools.
  • Experience with tool integrations, automations (e.g. CRMs, Bubble, Zappier), and SDKs (for payments, scheduling, video, audio, text communication).
  • Experience working on R&D projects and/or working on innovative early-stage products such as incubation teams, skunk works, or R&D teams.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience working for an Assessment company, building formative assessments, stealth/embedded assessments is a huge plus.
