Are you enthusiastic about exploring the intersection of big data and regulatory compliance? Do you possess a sharp attention to detail and a talent for analysing complex datasets? We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on harnessing the power of big data while ensuring adherence to iGaming-regulated market standards.

As a Business Analyst specialising in big data and regulatory compliance, you will play a crucial role in analysing large datasets, identifying trends, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional compliance & data teams to analyse data, identify regulatory risks, and develop strategies to optimise technical compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of regulatory requirements pertinent to big data initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal compliance stakeholders to gather, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Responding to ad-hoc queries and providing advice on issues that are triggered by compliance.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing technical business processes and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to regulatory compliance procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Assisting in the execution of periodical Compliance Audits.
  • Provide guidance, mentor and support data engineers on complex regulatory matters and data analysis techniques.
  • Assisting in dealing with responding to queries from iGaming regulators.
  • Advocating to achieve increased compliance awareness and maintain a strong business technical compliance culture.
  • Collaborate with internal compliance stakeholders to understand business requirements and regulatory constraints.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance strategies, ensuring alignment with industry regulations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes, providing recommendations for proactive compliance measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in business analysis, with a focus on big data analytics and/or regulatory compliance within industries such as iGaming and/or finance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Python, R, or similar platforms and strong SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry (e.g., GDPR, iGaming Regulations, Financial Regulations).
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
