What are you going to do?

The Business Intelligence Manager is a strategic role that reports directly to the SVP of Business Applications. This position is crucial in executing and supporting the company’s business intelligence strategy. The manager will be responsible for building decision support systems that translate data into clear actionable insights
In collaboration with data engineers, support team members, and business users, the Business Intelligence Manager will spearhead initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The Business Intelligence Manager will play a key role in articulating the BI vision, managing the BI team, and working closely with stakeholders to identify and meet their data analytic needs. This role demands a leader who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong communication skills to bridge the gap between data and its interpretation.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for BI needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable BI systems, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data reporting.
  • Develop and execute BI strategies with usability and scalability in mind.
  • Champion the use of BI Tools (PowerBI, Looker, etc.) in creating actionable business intelligence reports.
  • Promote data literacy and a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization.
  • Manage and support the BI team by evaluating solutions and approaches to BI requests from agencies, optimizing output from the team and ensuring projects are delivered on time, and providing feedback to the internal team for continuous improvement.

What will help you succeed 

  • Very strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
  • Expertise in BI tools such as PowerBI (preferred), Looker, etc.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and visualization best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading BI projects and teams to successful outcomes.
