Junior BI and Data Analyst

A Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in helping organizations make informed decisions by analyzing and interpreting data.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing data from various sources to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making within the organization.

You will work closely with different departments to identify data-driven opportunities and improve business processes.

They play a crucial role in helping businesses understand their operations, customers, and market dynamics.

Data Collection & integration: 

• Gather data from various sources, such as databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. 

• Integrate and combine data from multiple sources for comprehensive analysis.

• Automate manual interventions when possible

Data Analysis: 

• Utilize statistical and analytical tools to analyze data and extract meaningful insights. 

• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.

• Perform strategic analysis such as profitability analysis.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to discover new opportunities or areas for improvement.

Reporting & Data Visualization: 

• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present key findings, trends, and recommendations for decision-makers. 

• Use tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software to convey insights.

• Develop automated reporting solutions for ongoing monitoring.

Data monitoring & governance : 

• Ensure data compliance with relevant regulations and internal data governance policies.

• Develop, maintain and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for reference and future use.

Communication & Recommendations: 

• Provide data-driven recommendations and solutions to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

• Present analysis results and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Prepare written reports and presentations.

• Effectively convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

• Collaborate with business and operations units to understand their objectives and translate data insights into actionable recommendations that drive business improvements.

• Work with various departments, including marketing, finance, operations, HSEQ and IT, to support their data-related needs and projects.

Are you a MATCH?

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools. 

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g,. Power BI).

• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

• Experience: 2-5 years experience in a similar role
