Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Sr. Specialist – Power BI to be based in Manila, Philippines
This role is responsible for preparing reports for stakeholders mainly using the Power BI tool to track and measure the progress of business strategies. The role will be functionally supporting the Project Controls Department in the US region while still reporting to the Project Controls Manager in Manila.
- Develop and enhance financial reports and dashboards to track and measure the success of business line strategic plans, growth initiatives, and cross-business line efforts.
- Incorporate data from multiple platforms and develop reports to support strategic priorities, such as pipeline, wins, losses, awarded backlog, bookings, revenue, margin, outlook, and other KPIs as required.
- Drive data quality by proactively identifying and addressing data gaps and training needs.
- Establish excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-business line leads and CRM Power Users.
- Conduct internal and external research including but not limited to the external market, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, and financial metrics.
- Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely resolution. May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.
- Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
- Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Propose alternatives to identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
- Contribute to various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
- Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to the Team Lead and Manager.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related technical field
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in Project Management
- Advanced fluency with Excel and understanding of Power BI
- Extensive experience in dashboard development
- Knowledgeable in Power Apps/Automation
