AI Engineer (Computer Vision) for an AI Dentistry start-up

INAIT (INAIT.ai) is searching for an AI Engineer (Computer Vision) for one of our newly created and funded daughter companies based in Lausanne, Switzerland - an AI company offering a radically new AI service for dental care.

As the AI Engineer you will be responsible for developing the AI technology underlying the company’s products and driving its development to meet customer needs and expectations. You will report directly to the CEO of the new company.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and engineer innovative AI technologies with applications in the Dentistry industry
• Develop cutting-edge computer-vision applications alongside a world-class team of AI engineers in the parent company’s AI team.
• Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure stability and scalability of the AI services.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure product’s technology addresses customer needs and expectations
• Define and execute workflows for packaging and deploying AI solutions in scalable cloud-based environments

Requirements

Required

• 2+ years experience prototyping and developing computer vision systems, with focus in object detection, scene understanding, and image processing
• 2+ years experience with Python-based AI frameworks (ie: tensorflow, PyTorch)
• Experience / deep understanding of deploying ML models into modern cloud computing frameworks (ie: Azure)
• Strong CS fundamentals, including working experience with code testing frameworks (ie: pytest), performance analysis and optimisation, and memory analysis
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced and agile environment
• MS in computer science, mathematics, or engineering or 2+ years in industry
• Experience working in Agile development lifecycles, with Product Owner role as a plus

Preferred

• Experience building AI applications for dental / medical domain and experience with diagnostic imaging data
• Experience in at least (1) of the following: camera tracking algorithms, SLAM, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction
• Experience working with Azure (MS) Cloud Computing framework / tools
