Overview

Chubb's Information Management group provides business insights, data management, and business and data analysis to North America. As a Business Insights Data Engineer, you'll play a key role within a group responsible for providing business insights, and automating cross-sell functionality.

The Opportunity 
 
Your Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze, develop, and maintain data-centric applications focused on automated cross-selling.
• Query Azure cloud data warehouse using SQL and Data analysis tools
• Help architect optimal ETL and data pipelines using Informatica.
• Collaborate with other departments and contribute to building scalable data solutions.

Technical Skills / Experience: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in Data engineering including SQL, RDBMS, ETL
• Clear understanding of data Lake and Data Warehousing 
• Experience with Azur SQL Server Data Warehouse
• 1-2 years of experience creating ETL solutions using Informatica IICS, and IDMC products
• 1-2 years of experience with Git hub and JIRA
• Demonstrated analytical ability in a data-intensive environment
• Able to communicate clearly and promptly 
• Experience with Python and Databricks is a plus
