SAP Master Data Manager

JOB TITLE – SAP Master Data Manager 

LOCATION - Lisbon or Madrid 

HOURS - 40 hours 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP Master Data Manager to join our Finance team. As an MDM Lead, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our organization's Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and solutions, ensuring consistent, accurate, and trusted master data across the enterprise. 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? 

• Implementing SAP master data solutions, including SAP Master Data Governance workflow, in our SAP implementation project  

• Driving MDM data migration and integration efforts with source systems (SAP, non-SAP). 

• Establishing cross-functional forum where we can align data design and changes after SAP go-live 

• Managing the MDM center of excellence, providing guidance and best practices. 

• Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and global teams to drive MDM initiatives. 

• Developing training materials and conducting MDM training. 

• Monitoring MDM performance, data quality metrics, and driving continuous improvement. 

• Staying updated on MDM trends, tools, and industry best practices. 

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED? 

• Experience leading SAP Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives and implementations of SAP MDG. 

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing MDM solutions, data governance frameworks, and data migration strategies. 

• Strong knowledge of data management principles, data quality practices, and data integration techniques. 

• Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills. 

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change management initiatives. 

• Experience with SAP tools and technologies (e.g. SAP MDG). 

• Familiarity with relevant data management standards and best practices. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
