Data Analyst

The purpose of this role is to support data democratization and data literacy within adidas by enhancing our unified Lakehouse platform. You will be part of the Data Analyst Journey Team, which designs services and features for the analyst community, enabling and consulting them to consume data effectively and monitor their adoption. This role also involves managing our global data literacy initiative to enhance data skills across adidas.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

• Being part of a team that promotes data literacy and democratization within adidas.
• Participating in the design and execution of a strategic roadmap for the analyst community.
• Gaining insights from data through SQL and building/maintaining dashboards in Power BI.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis in Databricks Notebooks and communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Working with the latest technologies in a cloud big data environment.
   

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Proficient spoken and written command of English.
• +3 years of hands-on experience as a data analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and expertise in building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI.
• Practitioners of machine learning and knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks (preferential).
• Ability to effectively communicate data insights and stories to stakeholders and senior management combined with PM skills.
• Experience in agile/scrum methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams (preferential).
