You will be a part of the PayPal Privacy Engineering Team in Common Platforms organization. The team is working on will be responsible for analysis, design, coding and building Full Stack AI driven platforms for Privacy Engineering.

Your day to day:

•Skilled in working with various databases and frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Ability to build scalable and efficient web applications from conception to deployment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of tackling challenges across the entire software development lifecycle and delivering high-quality solutions.

• Develop software solutions tailored to PayPal’s Privacy domain.

• Utilize machine learning models to address business challenges through design, development, and experimentation.

• Comprehend and interpret product requirements effectively.

• Propose innovative approaches and methodologies to tackle business problems.

• Implement automation solutions efficiently to enhance productivity.

• Proactively identify and suggest solutions to overcome limitations.

• Foster collaboration and teamwork with fellow team members.

• Analyze and provide support for requirements from product and other teams. • Demonstrate proficiency in emerging technologies such as AI LLM, Cybersecurity.

• Exhibit a passion for innovation and thrive in high-impact regulatory environments.

• Participate in the design and development of both existing and new frameworks.

• Advocate for clean and scalable coding practices and participate in code reviews.

• Champion the delivery of high-performance, secure, and reliable software services.

• Collaborate effectively within Agile teams to drive shared understanding of new products and features.

• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and share knowledge with peers and teams.

• Contribute actively to automated testing and build/deploy processes for continuous integration.

• Advocate for strategies to address technical debt and enable tech excellences proactively.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers to nurture their technical skills.

What do you need to bring:

• Proficiency in Java (with Spring Boot),Python .

• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.

• Basic knowlege of cloud platforms Google Cloud Platform(Bigquery)/Azure/AWS

• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins,GitLab CI/CD

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus / Grafana.

• Proficiency in SQL for relational databases

• Experience with Git and knowledge of version control workflows.

• Awareness of security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Familiarity with Transformers, LLM architectures &frameworks such as PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
