Analytics Manager Europe (m/f/d) 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the business analytics process by leveraging data and analytics to drive actionable insights, define new opportunities, and foster winning strategies to elevate our understanding and analytics strategy for our Customer Experiences 
  • Lead Business Trade (weekly, monthly, quarterly), with the key goal of supporting the business stakeholders in understanding past performance, to take actions and steer the business based on data and insights
  • Create and own a new Performance Forecasting process, to support the business in understanding and predicting future performance, to best steer actions and projects to hit our functional goals, as well as best plan our logistics processes and shipping volumes, to run our business as efficiently as possible
  • Gather and handle large data sets, run different analytics techniques and models on this data, identify insights and trends from the results of those analysis, present insights to your business stakeholders and leadership as actionable opportunities and useful learnings, follow up on those actions by measuring their impact and performance
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards to both enable the business teams to run self-serve analysis and lead business trade
  • Work closely with your analytics peers (Marketing analytics, Web analytics, and Consumer analytics) to ensure that the insights and analyses are translated into recommendations for our business stakeholders to drive actions for our consumers, and steer our business strategies
  • Partner closely with several core functions within the D2C business - Leadership Team (for business trade and steering), Finance and Sales Planning (for forecasting and budgeting), Analytics (in Global and other territories such as US), Business Intelligence (in Global, for data creation, handling, and management)
  • To bring insights to action, work also closely with: Onsite Experience (website UX, conversion optimisation, content engagement), Digital Product (platform health, new releases, AB testing, features improvements), Product & Merchandising (assortment planning, promotions, franchise lifecycle management), Retail (store performance, assortment, online-to-offline)

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: 

  • University degree in business analytics, data science, statistics, or business management related courses 
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Business Intelligence teams
  • Experience in e-commerce, fashion and/or retail industry is a plus
  • Previous experience or knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes, business trade and reviews, analytics metrics and techniques, synthesis of insights and action-driven data projects
  • Capacity to balance long-term projects and quick turn-around support, including key business timelines, to independently manage time and prioritisation of tasks for day-to-day work, being ready to adapt to changes in business priorities or strategy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including project management capacities
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and leaders within same project and time
  • Work independently and proactive to bring forward processes and projects, as well as bring together stakeholders and team members towards common goals
  • Willingness to learn both new technical skills, as well as retail and e-commerce business dynamics and processes
  • Motivated to work in a dynamic and international environment, fostering different point of views, cultures and diversity in the workplace
  • Confident knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote as well as Tableau or similar data visualization and analysis tools
  • Confident SQL knowledge and familiarity with the handling of large datasets; Python or other advanced coding languages for modelling as well as Google or Adobe Analytics is a plus
  • Fluent English language skills
