Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
 

• Develop and analyze multiple data sources in the wind industry – from operational data of wind farms, over simulation and a digital twin data towards wind atlas data

• Define use case specific data architecture and design our future data landscape

• Build data pipelines (ETL, DataOps) using best practices such as Clean Code and SOLID principles

• Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy robust and scalable machine learning solutions

• Support end-to-end development of data products from idea creation towards supervision after implementation in the productive environment

• Lead R&D projects in the context of data management

Your Qualifications
 

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in IT, natural sciences, engineering or comparable

• Proficiency in using shell scripting and working on Linux

• Experience in object-oriented programming including architecture design, testing, packaging in Python, and C# or alike

• Experience with data interfaces and query languages such as REST and SQL

• Know-how about Apache Spark or DataBricks, Kafka, Flink or other data processing systems

• Experience with containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity in building DataOps/DevOps pipelines with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or alike
