Our 3-year Traineeship is designed to equip you with the skills and experience necessary to excel in the competitive world of sales, marketing or data. Role and Responsibilities

Representing the brand, you radiate confidence and professionalism in an inspiring way. In this way, you actively contribute to the further growth of Samsung.

This means that you are responsible for the following:

Data Engineering

• Collect and connect data from different sources according to business needs, use cases, potential exploitation and deployment, and technology possibilities: GCP, Azure, and on-premise servers
• Model raw data into clean, tested, and reusable datasets, make it easier for business analysts and other stakeholders to view and understand data in DB
• Apply various transformations (ETL, ELT) to different data pieces to ensure they correspond to given tasks

Data Science and Machine Learning

• Develop data science and machine learning models with the goal of improving revenue from marketing campaigns
• Identify key customer segmentation and support the personalization of marketing communication for precision audience targeting
• Support pricing strategy and manage pricing models

BI dashboard development

• Support simulation and data visualization projects
• Convert data into a suitable graphic format including - dashboards, graphs, charts, and reports using BI tools
• Support automated/self-serving data visualization projects by building the foundation layer for dashboard reporting.

Stakeholder engagement to make insights actionable

• Map requirements and projects from stakeholders, including business divisions and Marketing Channels, and Marketing Strategy teams.
• Evangelize the data-driven decision-making to the stakeholders while communicating in a plain and intuitive language so that stakeholders easily follow even the sophisticated and technical concepts.
• Establish collaboration with European and global teams working on projects as mentioned above.

Responsibility Expansion: As you develop and demonstrate your capabilities during the traineeship, your responsibilities will increase accordingly, providing you with more opportunities to take on greater challenges and responsibilities.

This traineeship position is part of our specialized Advanced Analytics Track. Meaning that within the three-year traineeship program you will develop yourself on the following topics to become well-rounded analytics professional:

• Year 1: Data Engineering (CM – D&A)
• Year 2: Data Science (CM – D&A)
• Year 3: BI development (CM - D&A)

Skills and Qualifications

Are you the one we are looking for?

• You hold a master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics (Business economics), Quantitative Marketing, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Knowledge and skills in data engineering, API and cloud computing (GCP, Azure and Databricks)
• Knowledge and skills in SQL/Big Query and Python for data processing and data mining (modelling)
• Knowledge and skills in statistical modelling: Machine Learning and Data Science
• You are enterprising, ambitious, like to take initiative and you stand firm in your shoes
• You are innovative (we move fast and take big risks)

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
