As the Sustainability Data Analyst you will be seen as an expert in Product and Vendor data modelling, taking time to understand what data is important and how it is used. Using SQL you will align data from across our banner companies (B&Q, Screwfix Castorama etc..) into a central report allowing the business to accurately review the sustainability data.

What's the job?

  • Work Closely with partners across the business to help determine their reporting requirements and understand their processes
  • Design and develop Power BI reports & dashboards to provide intuitive and interactive information which allows business decisions to be made and improvement activities
  • Build reports and test and refine them with the report consumers
  • Build good working relationships with end users to ensure reports are still relevant and effective over time
  • Identify any further opportunities to design, develop and improve reporting tools to aid the business in day to day operation.

What you'll bring

  • Experience of SQL
  • Experience of Business Objects query and report building
  • Advanced user of analytical tools (excel, Power Query)
  • A good understanding of common data concepts, e.g. relationships, data types etc
  • An appreciation of design and storytelling for both data and non-data perspectives
