Growth Engineer

Who We Are

We are looking for a Growth Engineer who has technical capabilities of a data engineering, business understanding and a product manager mindset. You will collaborate directly with our CMO and be part of the GTM team.

dlt is an open-source library that automatically creates datasets from messy, unstructured data sources. You can use the library to move data from about anywhere into the most well-known SQL and vector stores, data lakes, storage buckets, or local engines such as DuckDB, Arrow or delta-rs. The library automates many cumbersome data engineering tasks and can be handled by anyone who knows Python.

dltHub is based in Berlin and New York City. It was founded by data and machine learning veterans. We are backed by Foundation Capital, Dig Ventures, and many technical founders from companies such as Datadog, Instana, Hugging Face, MotherDuck, Mesosphere, Matillion, Miro, and Rasa.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a Python-based automation engine to automate our SEO and Marketing.
• Lead the implementation and management of automated growth strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data and automation.
• Conduct experiments to refine strategies and improve performance metrics.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methodologies to drive growth.
• Take ownership of projects, from conception through to execution, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives.

Requirements

• Technical capabilities in data engineering, business understanding, and a product manager mindset.
• Proven experience in data engineering or business intelligence, proficiency in Python, SQL, dbt.
• Experience in content strategy, SEO optimization, and digital marketing is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to execute with minimal guidance.
• Growth mindset and are passionate about continuous learning and applying new technologies in marketing.
• Skilled in experimental design and analysis with a pragmatic 80/20 approach to project management.
• Ability to gather user feedback, especially from developers, and adapt strategies accordingly.
