The Buy-Side Front Office team is responsible for ensuring the success of FactSet’s solutions that target Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Quants, including the Buy-Side Flagship Workstation. We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to join our team and take ownership of the Buyside Flagship Workstation. The role will be crucial in driving strategic initiatives and will collaborate closely with the Deal Makers & Wealth Strategic Business Unit (SBU) for successful work execution.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Front Office Senior Director to develop a strategic plan for the Buy-Side Workstation, aiming to enhance competitiveness against core competitors
Define development priorities for the Buy-Side Workstation
Maintain and grow Buy-Side Workstation ASV (annual subscription value)
Formulate and own the Buy-Side Workstation Product Roadmap
Create a catalog of the most important end-to-end workflows used by Buy-Side personas
Partner with the Deal Makers & Wealth Strategic Business Unit (SBU) to execute and monitor the delivery of Product Roadmap projects, ensuring sufficient resources are allocated to Buy-Side Workstation priorities
Manage expectations of key stakeholders both internally and externally
Take ownership of internal and external Buy-Side workstation messaging
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve the Buy-Side workstation value proposition
Partner with the Global Head of Pricing to refine the packaging and cost of the Buy-Side Workstation along with underlying product ASV allocations
Job Requirements
Minimum of 15 years experience in Product Management
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
Deep understanding of the workflows and requirements of institutional Buy-Side professionals
Analytical, methodical, inquisitive, and persevering mindset, with a focus on building solutions that satisfy the marketplace and clients
Comprehensive knowledge of the main institutional asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Private Equity
Comfortable communicating verbally and in writing to audiences of various sizes and seniority
Nice to have/desired skills
Prior experience in a client facing role
Working knowledge of the market intelligence platforms (i.e.:, FactSet and core competitors)
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Deep understanding of the institutional Research workflow & the competitors in that space
CFA charter holder
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
The budgeted amount range for this position in the States of Connecticut, and in New York City is $180,000 - $235,000
