Data Quality Control Analyst (Hybrid)

Job Overview

IQVIA has a career opportunity for Data Quality Control Analyst. The individual with be responsible for performs data analytics activities related to complex business problems and issues to provide insight to decision makers.  May provide analytic support for internal project teams and for external client consulting or services engagements.

Essential Functions

•  Conducts basic quantitative or qualitative analyses to support internal or external client projects.

•  Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in data.

• Develops specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and available data.

•  May produce datasets and reports using existing IQVIA tools.

• Ensures data accuracy and completeness.

• Manipulates and transforms data to optimize analyses.

• Audits own work or that of others to ensure compliance with procedures or resolve routine issues.

•  May work with standalone data systems or enterprise-wide tools for inquiry resolution, data validation, and trend analysis.

•  Proficient in working with business intelligence tools such as Qlikview, QlikSense, PowerBI and PowerQuery in Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.

•  1-3 years of professional experience, preferably with pharmaceutical data.

•  Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft software tools (Excel and PowerPoint).

•  Intermediate to advanced Excel

•  Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.

• Ability to work effectively with others across the organization to achieve team goals.

•  Understanding of fundamental business processes.

•  Knowledge of methods, tools, and techniques related to the functional area.

•  Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and marketplace.

• Effective time management skills.
