Data Governance Manager

In order to deliver our Operations 2030 strategy roadmap, the Operations Data Office is now looking for a Global Data Governance Manager to join our team. You will play an important role in the expansion of Data Governance across the Operations Business Unit, whilst ensuring alignment with Enterprise initiatives. Your main focus will be leading the creation of a data strategy for our manufacturing area as well as defining the implementation roadmap. You will also coordinate a smaller team in the delivery of data governance across manufacturing.

Main accountabilities:

• Lead the creation of Manufacturing Data Strategy including a delivery roadmap to enable scaling of digital products as well as Autonomous Manufacturing/Ops 2030 strategy. Systems and data in scope is master data, operational data (OT), transactional data and meta data. (SAP, PAS-X, TrackSYS and Historian)
• Active Contributor to development of the Global Data Governance strategy, goals and roadmap.
• Lead the work to define the Critical and Key Data Elements which needs to have standards and data quality metrics in place, engaging and collaborating with experts across the manufacturing area.
• Lead and coordinate the design and implementation of data standards metrics to support and monitor progress against the Data Governance Framework
• Develop processes to drive change and improvement activities

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information/Data Science, Informatics, computer science, economics or related discipline – or equivalent number of years of experience.
• Significant experience and subject matter expertise within manufacturing processes and data enabling the processes.
• Experience of creating a data strategy and a delivery roadmap.
• Experience of identifying critical data entities/elements in a business process or other key enablers which needs to be harmonized or standardized.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
• Ability to lead and manage negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome.
• Experience of SAP, PAS-X, TrackSYS and Historian

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Intimate knowledge of relevant key business processes
• Network of relevant contacts and relationships, including external links
• Data Governance and Data Management education and certifications
