What you will do

Digitalization in the healthcare sector increases in importance and may allow more efficient processes, e.g., helping to mitigate personal shortage. On the medical side, digital health may lead to advance better diagnostics, treatments and prognostics options.

What you bring to the table

• Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, medicine or similar
• PhD in (medical) computer science, data science or similar is a plus
• Work experience in applying data science methods in the healthcare sector, preferably in industry-close projects and medical knowledge
• Experience in student supervision (e.g., bachelor and master students) is a plus
• Programming experience (e.g. Python, C/C++, etc.).
• Communication and cooperation skills.
• Highly motivated with an independent way of working and a critical thinking mindset.
• Good language skills in German (C1) and English (C1).
• Experience in grant writing and/or in project management is a plus.

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
