BI Analyst

Scoutbee is looking for a Data & BI Analyst to join our team in Berlin. and reporting directly to the Strategy & Operations Lead. 

In this role you’ll focus on advancing our thinking beyond the “here and now” with responsibility for structured data analysis, Business Intelligence, data visualisation.  You will be a key player in enabling decision making across the business, importantly providing data and insights to senior management and executive teams. 

Your role in our hive 

• Data-driven & analytics mindset : Contribute to Scoutbee's success by analyzing and visualizing datasets from various sources, developing analytical solutions, and delivering actionable insights that support in our strategic business decisions. 
• Critical thinking and problem-solving: Use analytical skills to impact strategy execution, break down existing business processes using data, identify potential inefficiencies and suggest effective solutions to enhance overall processes across the whole organization.
• Interpersonal skills: Work closely with the C-level team and ensure that data & insights that support our strategic goals are communicated simply, clearly and effectively across the organization and among senior stakeholders and to our investors.
• Drive strategic projects: Manage BI projects throughout the entire lifecycle, planning and delegating tasks while strategising solutions and ensuring the successful completion and execution of the project.
• Major Plus - Salesforce Proficiency

What you bring to our hive

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst in analytics/insights/strategy
• University degree within engineering, data & insights, business strategy or equivalent
• Strong Data analysis / insights and Data Visualization skills with proven track record in delivering exceptional results in these fields
• Hands-on experience with BI & analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Superset, or PowerBI)
• Analyzing usage statistics is something you enjoy, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to refine our requirements and create improvements.
• Proficiency in structured problem solving, business case modeling and engaging storytelling.
• You are a team player with a hands-on mentality, comfort with ambiguity, ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations and strong organizational skills. 
• Good stakeholder management experience. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and C-suite.
• Experience and availability to work with global stakeholders, especially across Europe and North America.
• Nice to have: Understanding of programming languages (e.g., R, Java, Python)
