BI Analyst (all genders)

We drive decisions in Zalando’s Logistics and Customer Care divisions and are looking for a BI Analyst (all genders) to translate complex business requests into data products. You will help our stakeholders by creating reports, automating data, and implementing new KPIs. Furthermore, you will contribute to data projects by providing solution designs and data consulting. You will be part of a very supportive 20-person BI team with high seniority.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• You gather business requirements, analyse them, connect the dots using data, and drive the implementation. You also perform data source analyses to understand our processes and provide curated data across platforms to our stakeholders.

• You solve ad-hoc KPI requests and create reports in MicroStrategy

• You help extend and optimise our data model. 

• You use Redshift, PostgreSQL, Airflow, and Databricks. 

• You provide meaningful insights across different levels of audiences and communicate effectively, translating complex topics into manageable, simple, plain language.

• You collaborate with our engineers and project managers to create and implement new self-service reporting initiatives in an agile environment. You also build a strong, trust-based network with stakeholders, peers, and others.

• You get a tailored BI Analytics development plan and training to foster growth.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You obtained an academic degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other similar quantitative fields.

• You have experience in working with big piles of data.

• You are a quick learner, analytical, solution-driven, pragmatic, and stakeholder-focused.

• You are passionate about reading and writing complex statements and modelling data structures on relational databases.

• You challenge the status quo, drive innovation, and are keen to identify and apply best practices.

• Fluent in English is a must. Experience in Logistics or Customer Care is a plus.
