RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you interested in working in the People Data Service Unit and analyze people data of an international corporation on a global level? As a (Senior) Specialist in our team People Data Reporting & Analytics, you will actively contribute to the analysis of a wide range of data and take over deputy application ownership of our state-of-the-art analytics tool.

• As the deputy application owner of our people data analytics tool Visier you support in the further development and refinement of analyses and reports on an ongoing basis, considering different requirements using the opportunities given by Visier and new technologies / IT systems. 
• Working closely together with service recipients you will translate questions into analytical problems, use research methods and visualization techniques to generate insights and communicate them. 
• You merge data from different sources and visualize them in digital dashboards and applications.
• You present your results target group oriented and advise our global internal partners in the BASF Group.
• You actively drive forward automation and efficiency initiatives in your area of responsibility, working together with our specialists (e.g. scripters, data scientists) across units.

QUALIFICATIONS

• university degree in economics, social sciences or in a comparable field
• ideally, initial experience in using visualization tools such as Visier or Power BI as well as SAP (module HCM, SAP BI, R)
• excellent communication skills in English, German skills are a plus
• advanced handling of MS Office standard applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• strong analytical thinking and target- and result-oriented execution of tasks
• reliable and structured way of working, high degree of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 38.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
