At Flutter, we are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Finance Business Intelligence and Analytics team. This role offers a distinctive chance to actively shape our business intelligence strategy and ensure the precise and prompt delivery of financial metrics throughout the Flutter Group. As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals and make valuable contributions to our business's triumph.

Role Summary

The Finance Business Intelligence Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing and delivering a coherent business intelligence strategy across the Flutter Group. You will work closely with the Data team and the wider business to ensure consistent use of financial metrics and drive sustainable solutions for presenting these.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and build data definitions behind financial metrics, ensuring consistent use throughout the Flutter Group.
• Act as a key link between the Data team and the business, cultivating relationships to consider all points of view.
• Contribute to the onboarding of additional brands into the Finance Data Delivery Model, including building and orchestrating revenue files.
• Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members.
• Translate business requirements into specifications for data warehouse design and configuration.
• Liaise with core Finance teams and beyond to ensure statutory requirements are met and provide information for external auditors as necessary.
• Assist with the rollout of Alteryx Server across Finance teams, streamlining workflows.
• Employ ETL tools to automate data storage and enhance process optimization.
• Develop and put into practice effective technology guidelines, repeatable processes, and standard procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Equivalent experience or a strong educational background.
• Understanding of financial terms and definitions.
• Prior experience in the field of Finance/Accounting or working closely with individuals in Finance roles.
• An interest in sports and betting.
• Skilled at writing SQL modeling (nice to have).
• Knowledge of ETL tools (nice to have).
• Professional and positive approach, combined with good time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proactivity and innovation – capacity to identify improvements in process and assist management in implementation.
• Excellent communication skills within the team and across the wider business.
• Ability to thrive in a frequently changing and fast-paced environment.
