Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. What is the role of a Graphic Designer? The Graphic Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more. Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements

• Strong aesthetic sense: Ability to play with colors, and experiment with fonts and typography.● Design style: Preference for minimal, nordic visual appeal/Scandinavian design sense.● Proficiency in the software of Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, andIllustrator.● Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and aesthetics.● Communication and collaboration: Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.● Print graphics knowledge: Experience in print graphics like catalogues, brochures, packaging,etc.● Printing process knowledge: Understanding of offset printing, CMYK and Pantone based printartwork setting, bleed margins, crop and registration marks, and preparing print files.● Strong familiarity with AI tools like dall-e, chat GPT, midjourney.Qualifications:● Graduate from institutes such as NIFT, MIT Pune, Pearl Academy, NID, Srishti School, etc.● Work experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience● Preferably coming from advertising or design agencies (e.g., Ogilvy, JWT, McCann, Leo Burnett, Elephant Design, etc.).● Specialised knowledge: Knowledge of UI/UX and web design is considered a plus.
