We are seeking a Data Programmer who will assist with data science aspects of research to develop measures of structural racism and evaluate their potential to inform health risks. 


Specific Duties &b Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature review and background informational research to inform measures.
  • Assist in obtaining publicly available data.
  • Perform data analyses under guidance of primary supervisor and faculty appointed to study team.
  • Meet regularly with supervisor to review data accuracy, reports, and overall study progress.
  • Meet regularly with study team to report findings, inform discussion, and gain information


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
  • Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with analyzing data is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse and high-paced research environment quickly and comfortably.
  • Experience in statistical or mathematical analyses.
  • Additional advanced training (master degree level)
