Radar ML engineer

Radar is a core perception technology in advanced driver assisted systems (ADAS) for enhancing safety and convenience. Future radar systems in vehicles will likely move to the higher millimeter-wave bands and incorporate more digital processing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, validate and benchmark machine learning algorithms for automotive radar in ADAS applications
• Assist in data acquisition initiatives for algorithm proof-of-concept validation
• Actively collaborate with NXP community of signal processing and machine learning experts
• Proactively identify control points for algorithms in terms of product differentiatiors, inventions etc

As a candidate for this position, it is expected that you have:

• Master’s student in electrical/electronic engineering, or a relevant field of study.
• Strong background in ML, and algorithms.
• Experience in automotive radar and signal processing methods, and an interest in growing your expertise in radar and ADAS.
• Experience in Matlab/Python programming.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong motivation in working in an R&D environment.

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
