Master Data Management-Staff Software Engineer

About the Role

In this role, you will design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, company objectives and Agile practices. You will collaborate closely with key business support teams, product managers, architecture to assist in resolving complex critical cross-team and cross-domain production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert and will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of domain and core programming technologies or packages to mentor and advise team members.

What You'll Do

Designing ,Developing and Implementing MDM solutions to manage critical business data across the organization. 

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and define data models, data governance, policies and data integration processes. 

• Configuring and customizing MDM software platforms to meet specific business needs and data management objectives. 

• Developing data quality rules,data validation process and data cleansing procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency of master data. 

• Integrating MDM solutions with existing systems and applications, including ERP,CRM,and BI Tools to facilitate data sharing and interoperability. 

• Designing and implementing data synchronization and data replication mechanisms to ensure the timely propagation of master data changes across systems. 

• Writing and optimizing SQL Queries and scripts for data extraction ,transformation and loading ETL processes within the MDM Environment. 

• Performing data profiling,data analysis,and data mapping activities to identify data quality issues and reconcile inconsistencies. 

• Providing technical expertise and support to MDM Administrators,data stewards and end users in data governance and data management tasks. 

• Participating in MDM implementation projects, including requirements gathering ,solution design,development,testing and deployment phases. 

• Work on MDM tools like Maestro, Profisee 

• Develop and create new models in Profisee and Merge all the existing Models into one using Profisee

Who You Are

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Or a related Field. 

• Proven Experience in designing ,developing and implementing MDM solutions using leading MDM software platforms ex:Profisee,Maestro 

• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, including entity relationship modelling,dimensional modelling and master data modelling. 

• Proficiency in SQL,PL/SQL,Teradata,SQL Server,DB2,Oracle 

• Familiarity with Data warehousing concepts and data integration technologies and techniques. 

• Knowledge of data quality management principles and techniques, including data profiling and data cleansing and data de-duplication. 

• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data issues and propose effective solutions. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and interact with business stakeholders. 

• Experience with agile or iterative software solutions methodologies is a plus. 

• Certifications in MDM Technologies are desirable but not mandatory. 

• Sound knowledge on MDM tools like Maestro, Profisee 

• Develop and create new models in Profisee and Merge all the existing Models into one using Profisee.
