What are we looking for?

The Threat Services organization is looking for an experienced Staff (techlead-level) Full Stack Engineer to join our WatchTower Engineering team. As our ideal new colleague you should have a strong background in both back-end and front-end technologies and a passion for creating robust, scalable, and efficient applications.

As a member of our team you’ll be responsible for building software tools for threat hunters and their integrations with other SentinelOne services. This role is a rare opportunity to join an experienced engineering team and contribute to team culture, architecture, design and delivery of new systems.

What will you do? 

• Lead and contribute to creating new tools and services, as well as improving existing solutions.
• You will help us build the next-generation scalable services and web application using modern technologies (approx 20-30% FE in React, TypeScript; approx 70-80% BE in Java/Kotlin - Spring(boot) ecosystem, and partially Python; Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, AWS&GCP etc.)
• Design for scalability, security, and reliability across a global environment
• You will drive design decisions to improve the product architecture and ensure the team's adherence to engineering best practices.
• You will help identify areas for proactive improvement based on team findings.
• You will be involved in the whole SW development process - from product discovery, through designing architecture, implementation and testing to delivery to production and subsequent monitoring.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a strong portfolio of Spring applications
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and Spring ecosystem
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Experience with frontend technologies with languages such as React or Angular
• Understanding user requirements and leading the solution delivery, along with attention to details
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD

It’d be great if you have experience with / or You’d learn & gain on our team:

• Communication and organization in distributed teams
• Experience with Python
• Experience with security products, especially detection systems and/or machine learning
