A great opportunity exists to join Zurich’s Finance & Actuarial Systems team as a Data & Systems Analyst. 

 

In this varied role, you will develop and maintain data models/system for various analytical/reporting needs across the business. Key to this role will be your ability to analyse data and build scripts to uplift the evaluation process across datasets. Collaborating with a range of stakeholders, you will deliver insights to enhance process improvement and business performance. 

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Defining and implementing data acquisition
  • Determining an appropriate sequence of methods/tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Documenting systems and process changes
  • Proactively analysing data to uncover stakeholder analytical needs
  • Delivering actionable insights to key decision makers 

 

Important to your success - let's grow together

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; experience in a similar role
  • Strong R/R Studio statistical computing and data querying ability
  • Experience with database, model design and segmentation techniques
  • Technical writing experience, such as queries, reports, and presentations
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with structured/unstructured data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Exposure to cloud computing concepts like AWS R Studio beneficial
  • Grasp of best practice in relation to model change developments methodology and life cycle (e.g. requirement gathering, development, user acceptance testing, production deployment)
