Location: Budapest

Contract type: Full-time, Fixed-term for 9 months

Function

Global HR Operations (GHRO) is part of Diageo Business Services, providing HR support to 23,000 employees in 70+ countries, worldwide. Services – among many others – include Resourcing, On-boarding, Off-boarding Compensation & Reward administration and Payroll.

About the role

The person in this role will be dedicated to customer service and resolving queries with a high degree of quality and accuracy. They will also demonstrate good judgement to interpret the customers’ need and appropriate response. They receive and process requests (including document generation) and enquiries using the technology and documentation provided. The JML Specialist will have specialist knowledge and will lead cases E2E to resolution. This team will provide a streamlined, consistent and highly effective range of services for its customers with key focus on providing best in class on- and offboarding experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver service to agreed performance levels and beyond. SLA targets relate to: Speed to close queries, Data and Documentation Accuracy and Customer Satisfaction.

  • Serve as key contact/liaison with local HR in market to ensure that the process, including notifications, reflect current ways of working.

  • Handle activities relating to all workload on the Service Now query management system, including comprehensive notes and audit trails.

  • Supervise the completion of the Employee and Line Manager on- and offboarding activities including joiner/mover/leaver processes (Follow-up calls and emails).

  • Lead all queries with partners related to on- and offboarding process via e-mail and phone.

  • Handle outstanding business processes for movers.

  • Lead requests of Onboarding/Offboarding Questionnaires.

  • Generate certificate of service, letter requirements.

  • Handle requests for Exit Interview.

  • Creates and issue legal employment documentation with high accuracy (using Doc Genie, Workday and ServiceNow) and maintains master document templates.

  • Liaise with other HR teams to complete processes, diagnose issues and improve handoffs (IA, Fleet, Payroll, Benefits Providers etc).

  • Satisfy compliance requirements (e.g. Complete system reconciliations where needed, assemble offline instructions in ServiceNow) with special attention to General Data Protection Rules (GDPR).

About you

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish; additional skills in Portuguese are advantageous.

  • HR Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and practices; able to provide clear and consistent advice.

  • Data Analysis: Skilled in analyzing, interpreting, and using data with attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.

  • HR Operating Model: Solid understanding of all HR Operating Model components.

  • Process Principles: Ability to understand and consistently apply process principles.

  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build phenomenal relationships across all SSC teams.

  • Service Levels: Ensures deliverables and service levels meet defined SLAs.

  • Process Improvement: Reviews processes and provides feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Prioritization: Effectively prioritizes, switching between calls and emails, balancing new queries with resolving existing ones.

  • Judgement: Demonstrates good judgement, quickly diagnosing needs and identifying appropriate responses.

  • Customer Experience: Passionate about delivering a great customer experience.

  • Accuracy and Detail: Lives and breathes accuracy and detail, ensuring precision from the start.
