Thesis Worker

We are working on the bleeding edge of wireless technology. Our problems are challenging from the ML, DSP, and WCSys point of view. We are looking for Master thesis Students who are passionate problem-solvers in data and ML.
 

• Research and develop advanced ML techniques and algorithms with different data types (floating and fixed point).
• Evaluate algorithms performance using real-life and simulated data.
• Running tests, performing statistical analysis, interpreting and reporting results.
• Consult with WCSys experts to refine and/or validate ML experiments.
• Optimization of ML algorithms for different hardware platforms.
  
   

We are looking for a Master thesis student or student seeking master’s degree with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML development such as Python, and in machine learning platforms such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Fluency with unix/linux systems
• Great communication and collaboration skills

 It would be nice if you also have: 

• Telecommunications knowledge, time-series data handling, DSP knowledge 
• Experience with pipelines connected to real hardware/machines 
• Docker, workflow systems (Apache airflow, etc…), Kubernetes, VMs

Please note that we are looking for a Master student living in Finland (no relocation sponsoring possible) and that is a remunerated internship.
