Applied Speech Scientist

We are looking for a Applied Speech Scientist who will:

• You will be responsible for creating core technical components and interfaces for voice user interfaces, including, but not limited to speech recognition, speech synthesis, emotion recognition, etc.

• You will research, evaluate, and implement methods for improving ASR accuracy.

• You will analyze and fine-tune natural language understanding models to improve intent recognition and entity extraction.

• You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, linguists etc., to integrate advanced features into production pipelines.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

• Hands-on experience with speech processing, including building language models for automatic speech recognition.

• Experience with modern software development methodologies and techniques.

• Proficient in Python and/or C++.

• Strong data science skills.

• Proficiency in English in a business environment

• Comfortable working on a Linux platform.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure Services is a plus.
