• Data Governance: Standardization of data definitions and ensuring consistency in usage as per definitions across systems/products/regions.
• Meta Data Management: Leveraging data lineage, data discovery initiatives and creation of enterprise level meta data for all retail consumer products.
• Data Ownership: Identifying trusted data sources, data owners and consumers across process and products.
• Issue Management: Identifying defects and investigating root causes for different issues. Following up with stakeholders and creation of plan for resolution as per SLA
• Audit Support: Identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches and providing data evidence for audit completion.
• Data Certification: Developing procedures on data certification and certifying as per fit for purpose criteria.

The Data/Information Mgt Int Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Required Skills/Experience & Responsibilities:

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization and Tableau-specific delivery projects.
• Experience designing, developing, architecting, and administrating Tableau solutions for enterprise customers.
• Experience in End-to-End Life cycle of Data Visualization from Proof of concept, Understanding Product Requirements, Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Preparation, Creating Interactive/Dynamic Dashboards, Unit Testing, Deployments.
• Experience with Tableau Prep and Data Modeling based on Tableau best practices. Experience working with IT teams to aid in solution design a plus.
• Proficiency with different charts, tables, filters, parameters, table calculations, LODs, blending, joining, R connection, Statistical features & mapping capabilities.
• Deep Dashboard design and development experience is a must.
• Design thinking proficiency a must. Translate data into easily-digestible and highly-visual dashboards applications and executive level report deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL a must.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and software development lifecycle principles a plus.
• Experience with statistical tools (SAS) a plus.
• Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
• You should be able to respond to business/technical queries from team members and onsite partners.
• You should be able to coach, guide and mentor junior team members.
• Work cross-functionally with leadership, program managers and other stakeholders to understand and achieve business priorities.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working experience in a similar data management domain is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Experience in Tableau development and maintenance
• Tableau Expert (Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server)
• Proficient in SQL a must
• Proficient in Data visualization concepts
• Know-how on analytic tools (SAS ) a plus
• Big data and machine learning experiences are (R, Python etc.) a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or any related field
