Position overview:

The Senior Data Analyst will be a key player in our data-driven endeavors. This role will lead efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and data domain experts, to extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights that support strategic decisions and will require working with relevant stakeholders (business and tehcnical SMEs alongside data domain owners) to understand, challange requirements and deliver solutions.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Data Collection and Integration: Leading efforts to gather and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Data Cleaning and Preparation: Cleaning, validating, and transforming data to ensure its accuracy and readiness for analysis
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conducting advanced data analysis with statistical techniques, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
• Data Visualization: Creating compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as QlikSense, Power BI, or custom solutions to convey complex findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Project Development: Collaborating with stakeholders to define data analysis strategies, project objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, fostering their professional growth and development
• Continuous Improvement and Learning: Staying up-to-date with emerging data analysis methodologies and technologies, with new industry trends and best practices, recommending their implementation as applicable. Seek opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge

 
What are we looking for?

• Completed Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or similar discipline;
• Advanced/Fluent English 
• Experience with Data Collection, Cleaning and Preparation (ETL) and experience with Data Analysis and communicating results
• Experience with Project Development: working with stakeholders, defining goals and KPIs
• SQL, DBMS Skills, Excel & Data Visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikSense) Skills and Agile Methodology Skills
• JSON & XML Parsing, Regex, Map reduce, Data discovery, Data sources & Acquisition Skills
• Knowledge of Python, Machine Learning, R Language, Text Mining & NLP and ERPs datasets (SAP and JDE)
