This is your role

At PostNL, we deliver special moments every day. With our 4,200 PostNL points and 11,000 mailboxes, we are always nearby. Every day, we deliver an average of 8.1 million letters and 1.1 million parcels in the Benelux. In a constantly changing world, we keep improving ourselves to serve our customers optimally. As a Scrum Master, you play an essential role in our Agile transition and help us move forward with your vision.

As a Scrum Master at PostNL, you work within one or more DevOps Teams and guide them to the next level. Our teams have different levels of Agile maturity, ranging from start-up phase to stable DevOps Teams. Within Data Foundation, the teams are relatively mature and work on strategic priorities such as master data management, replacing SAP BW, implementing Datalake 2.0, and more. Together, we will look for the best match for your expertise, so you, the teams, and the ART can create value for PostNL in a sustainable way. You encourage team members to continuously improve, collaborate, and develop themselves through creativity and coaching.
 

Your responsibilities:
•    You work closely with the Platform Owners, Product Owners, and Release Train Engineer.
•    You coach the team in self-organization and continuous learning to achieve ambitious goals.
•    You further promote the Scrum methodology within the organization and help with its adoption.
•    You are an advocate of Agile thinking and have a vision for Agile/Scrum.
 

Your colleagues

You will be part of the Data Foundation team, which develops and maintains central data platforms for BI, Data Management, Analytics, Big Data & Data Science. Our goal is to provide an integrated, user-friendly, compliant, secure, and scalable Data Platform solution.

What you bring

•    Expertise in the Agile and Scrum mindset with several years of experience as a Scrum Master. Knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
•    A completed Bachelor's degree, Scrum certification, and affinity with IT.
•    You are a positively driven team player, listen well, and help the team reflect on their work.
•    You are a coach for the team and the Product Owner.
•    Preferably, excellent Dutch and English language skills, both spoken and written.
