The Pricing Specialist is responsible for the administration and management of the company's global rewards programs, including equity, benefits, and compensation. This role requires a thorough understanding of market trends, compliance requirements, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support the company’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in rewards management within a global context.

 

 

What to expect:

 

  • Help build data products power the automation and effectiveness of our pricing function, driving better quality revenues from merchants and consumers.
  • Work closely with Pricing stakeholders (e.g., product, sales, marketing) to turn raw data into actionable insights.  Help ask the right questions and find the answers.
  • Dive into complex pricing and behavioural data sets, spot trends and make sense of the noise.
  • Use your modelling and data-mining magic to pull out insights we didn't know to ask for.
  • Take your findings and turn them into plans for new data products or insights for for new merchant features.
  • Partner across merchant product, sales, marketing, engineering and finance to build alignment, engagement and excitement for new products, features and initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by following and enforcing data governance policies. Make sure we're all speaking the same data language.
  • Upskill yourself and others, and innovate.

 

To be successful you need to have:

 

  • 2 years of growth in data analysis in a pricing context, ideally both B2B and B2C in a digital environment.
  • Expertise in SQL.  Experience in Python.
  • Excellence in structuring and analysing A/B tests, elasticities and interdependencies.
  • Proven ability to visualise data intuitively, cleanly and clearly, to make important insights plain and simple.
  • Demonstrable multifaceted experience across large and complex datasets, including customer behaviour, and transactional data.
  • Top tier communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
