Data Analyst with Power BI

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze data, draw appropriate conclusions and derive insights
• Collaborate with business partners to understand the business case and lead the design, iterative development and deployment of data visualization solutions.
• Design and develop advanced reports and data visualization/business intelligence dashboards in Power BI
• Perform the necessary data transformations within the Microsoft Azure environment using Databricks

Why you?

Basic qualifications:

• Very good knowledge and experience in Power BI, minimum 2 years of experience
• Analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze large datasets and draw appropriate conclusions, being able to visualize and present these in a clear, coherent and easily understandable format
• Good knowledge of Python and SQL for data transformations
• Willingness to learn basics of Microsoft Azure and Github, to be able to deploy developed solutions
• Fluent English
• At least Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field - Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or related field

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in working in Microsoft Azure
• Experience in performing data transformations in Databricks
• Experience in natural sciences or related field, knowledge of IDMP ISO standard will be an additional advantage
• The following will be an additional advantage:

- Experience/ knowledge of Azure Data Factory and ETL processes

- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies

- Knowledge and/or experience with using or building CI/CD tools

- Knowledge of IDMP ISO standard
