University Health Network (UHN) is hiring a Data Analyst to work in the growing field of Healthcare Value Based Care. This position offers remote work opportunity for employees who meet performance requirements. Candidate must be able to commute to our corporate office located in Knoxville, TN for intermittent work in the office when needed. Candidate must be able to maintain HIPAA privacy requirements when working in a home office setting. 


University Health Network is a clinically integrated network and manages University Health ACO, LLC (an accountable care organization). We work in partnership with the University of Tennessee Medical Center, University Physicians’ Association (UPA), area physicians, and commercial and Medicare insurance companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

The Data Analyst is a full-time position that is responsible for analyzing large sets of data from multiple sources. The Data Analyst creates and validates multiple weekly and monthly end user reports. They will also monitor process performance, satisfaction of our customers, and identify improvements in data collection that will better meet the needs of the department. Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI highly desired. Experience with C Sharp a plus. This position reports to the Manager of Data Analytics.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or relevant field desired.
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or similar role required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Python or R required.
  • Proficiency using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau highly desired.
  • Experience with C Sharp a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
