Intermediate Data Analyst

(This is a hybrid role requiring some onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana)

This position will work closely with multiple departments in System Health Solutions, with the goal of understanding interdepartmental processes and using data to improve on these processes. The candidate will create and monitor existing KPIs, write SQL and create Power BI dashboards to verify performance. At the end of the day, our goal is to consolidate this information into an easily consumable format for leadership and automate processes along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports System Health Solutions business initiatives by improving data collection processes and provides insight into process performance.  This includes supporting service lines in the Health Plans, Value-Based Care, Clinical Operations, and Community Health departments.
  • Produces interactive dashboards (Power BI) in alignment with business partner needs to highlight areas of improvement
  • Develops and tracks key performance indictors (KPIs) using DAX and Power Query M to enhance the understanding of the business and to improve decision-making
  • Leverages SQL in multiple Azure and Oracle data warehouses for insight
  • Produces automated scripts with Visual Studio to transform and load data
  • Assesses the information capabilities of assigned areas to address gaps and provides data analysis training. Serves as a resource person to all levels of management in reviewing, understanding, and analyzing data for performance improvement initiatives.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

  • Experience with data visualization software
  • Experience with Excel & Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use data to draw conclusions and recommendations
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI or other data visualization software

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft 365.
