Job Description:

Location: Fort Shafter, HI

Clearance Needed: TS/SCI

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge in the field of Intelligence? Are you a Data Engineer with experience in data integration? Can you identify, integrate, map, and monitor complex and disparate data flows? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a junior-level Data Engineer with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to communicate qualitative and quantitative findings to analysts 
• Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data from source systems to target storage systems
• Develop run, package, and test Python scripts
• Process and fuse structured and unstructured data 
• Identify solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment in team sprint cycles 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• 1+ years of Python experience
• Experience with distributed version control systems (VCS) 
• Experience with the entire ETL/ELT pipeline, including data ingestion, data normalization, data preparation, and database design 
• Experience with data engineering projects supporting data science and AI/ML workloads 
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• CI Poly highly desired
• Familiarity with the INDOPACOM AOR
• Exposure to Palantir
• Experience with AWS and/or similar cloud computing services
• Background supporting the intelligence community

Salary Range: 

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
