Specific Responsibilities:   

  • Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for all in-scope ERP Applications (Material).
  • Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for Non-ERP Global Applications (JDA, DDMRP, Data Catalogs, MDM Tools) and how these Global Applications impact the SBD SAP ERP environments.
  • Accountable for analyzing and establishing the Material Data Playbook.
  • Drive and Develop Process Improvements on key Data/Risk areas.
  • Understand Governance model and ownership of master data for in-scope instances, including proposals for centralization and process changes.
  • Provide support to the business partners on ERP and non-ERP financial structure decisions and requirements related to projects, acquisitions, conversions, reporting needs.
  • Maintain guidelines, playbook documents and other common sites that provide information to our customers.
  • Coordinate benchmarking with peer and non-peer companies (through Hackett, Gartner, and CEB groups).
  • Support Data Governance & Enterprise Data Strategy efforts as required.
  • Understand SKU`s maintenance process (Creation, Change, Deletion, etc) and propose improvements to the Operation and Business Teams.
  • Understand Supply Chain and manufacturing processes to support their initiatives and the daily operation.
  • Work closely with Operations & Strategy team to ensure alignment and implement the MDM best practices.
  • Connect with the GSS Operations & Strategy Team to define processes and solutions that will impact the MDM operation.
  • Lead discussions with the Business Process Owners (BPO’s) to understand their needs and translate those needs into processes and solutions.
  • Will work with functional leads to execute testing activities (Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing) and develop and deliver training users.
  • Support local data resources during data load processes to ensure they are updated on data design.
  • Responsible for the achievement of program goals, objectives, and deliverables in the Material master data domain.  This includes the development and implementation of activities supporting the optimization of end-to-end business processes that consume material data as part a global ERP implementation.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced English
  • Ability to learn Stanley’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and non-ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, business operation, and processes.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and highly organized.
  • Excellent problem identification, prioritization, and remediation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills including data mining, analysis, trending and writing accompanying commentary.
  • Ability to manage complex discussions with Business Users
  • Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices.
  • Basic supply chain and manufacturing knowledge
  • Project Management experience
  • Well versed in data governance best practices Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement a Global solution.
