Come be part of the EMIT Department of ExxonMobil Business Support Center Brasil Ltda. at our Global Business Center (GBC) in Curitiba, with more than 21 years of presence in the country and a workforce of ~1800 employees, that provides support to an extensive portfolio of businesses across the globe.  Our offices are located in Brazil, USA, Europe and Asia.

What role you will play in our team

 

Data Engineer in Data & Analytics team working with Snowflake, SQL, Azure, Azure Functions, ADF, HANA, Python, Qlik, SLT, SSIS, GitHub, Databricks, Power Apps. Position allows learning but any previous experience is highly appreciated since this team already has several folks new in the role so we need to avoid overloading the experienced ones.

What you will do

 

 

• Work in a global Data & Analytics organization in a very collaborative environment (fluent English required).
• Team works under Agile practices following SAFe framework. Work with technical and business folks, being able to gather requirements, understand needs and convert them in solutions.
• Create tables, views and write logic to transform data as necessary. 
• Snowflake, SQL, Azure, HANA, Python, API

Skills and Qualifications 

• Solid SQL, some experience with programming languages. Collaborative, willing to work of diverse kind of people. Eager to learn, not afraid of learning new tools and concepts, either by learning from others or by self study.
• IT related graduation (Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, other Engineering courses if with some exposure to programming and data modeling)
• SQL, fluent English, willing to work at the office. It's not a remote or hybrid job position, employe must work at the office every day.
