Job Description

What do our Business Intelligence Engineers do ?

• Designing, developing, troubleshooting, evaluating, deploying, and documenting data management and business intelligence systems, enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
• Work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
•  Design and implement an analytical environment using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modelling metadata, building reports & dashboards and providing our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data.
• Ensuring completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance, availability and architecture requirements.
• Reviewing and participating in testing of the data design, tool design, data extracts/transforms, networks and hardware selections.
• Implement training and documentation solutions that enable business stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve reporting tools.
• Should be self-sufficient to complete e2e ETL task ,Technical Documentation and version controlling.
• Take ownership of different BI requirements coming from certain Line of Business.
• Grow in-depth Data Knowledge very quickly.
• Produce Business In-sights and produce value added suggestions.
• Understand Data Gaps and take initiative to full fill the same.
• Work closely with Business and should be able to complete Ad-hoc business analysis.
• Should be self-sufficient to complete User story decomposition and logical grouping of task.
• Should be self-sufficient in Bug Fixing and subsequent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

What do you need to succeed? – Your willingness to accelerate:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & 8+ years of relevant work experience.
•  A strong grasp of SQL and at least one scripting or programming language.
• Experience with Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) databases - Redshift (preferred), Glue, AWS Lake Formation, Teradata, Hive/Spark and OLAP layer-based concepts.
•  Experience with an enterprise class BI tools and it's auditing along with automations using REST API's.
•  Experience with reporting tools - Quicksight or Tableau.
•  Knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, data modelling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, hands-on SQL coding.
• Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative data science/business intelligence experience with significant business impact.
• Working with very large data warehousing environment • Good communication skills
• Working experience in Agile framework.
• Working experience in handling Business Stakeholders (eg. Finance , Online marketing , pricing etc.).
• Good idea about Google analytics.
• Good to have - experience in Google Big query and Data Modelling.
• Working Experience as team lead is a plus.
